We're very excited to be introducing Vanishing Elephant to both Mr & Mrs Smith and our sister store Mclean & Page for Spring/Summer 13. The mens range will sit in Mr & Mrs Smith , Women's in Mclean & Page.
The guys achieved a great show and was a fun highlight of the week.
Below is a review from Pages digital:

CLOTHES: It was about time the Vanishing Elephant boys had a show at fashion week. In what is a relatively short space of time, the trio have become the darlings of the streetwear scene, changing everyone’s minds about what it is to dress preppy. Never have printed shirts and shorts been so cool, as they are now in 2013 thanks to VE. One of General Pants Co.’s best sellers, VE has effectively wiped the floor with all the ripped jeans and fluoro tees seen everywhere in the past five years. And thank god for that. This season was entitled ‘A Continuous Beginning’, representing five years of learning and growth. In this time they have developed from a strictly men’s wear label, into a fully fledged offering for women as well. This is no small feat, as doing both is extremely hard to achieve well. We saw a mixture of all our favourites – slim fit chinos, printed swimming shorts, linen tailoring, kitsch prints, and  most importantly, comfortable shoes. Our pick is the reversible palm tree print shirts and the double polka dot chambray.
STYLING: Mark Vassallo worked with the boys to create an easily relatable look that will fly off the store shelves. There was a distinct boy scout vibe throughout the collection with stiff panamas from The Strand Hatters, backpacks and neckerchiefs.
SHOES: Desert boots were worn with thick hiking socks in an array of bright colours. Some girls wore heels, but the general consensus is that flats do it better.
BEAUTY: Men were clean and the ladies had a slight dark eye thanks to Noni Smith for MAC Cosmetics. Hair was out with a natural wave done by Jon Pulitano.
PRESENTATION: Trust the VE boys to find the best location in town. Bay 2 of the Australian Technology Park is a rather untouched space, filled with old industrial debris. The long, square runway meant everyone got a good look. Afterwards they held a great party with music from Canyons and Graz.
FASH IN FIVE: Cool boy scouts, effortless ladies.
FASH OUT OF FIVE:

Our team at the Vanishing Elephant after party. Bubbles!!
