INTRODUCING: Cloth & Co

We have just received our first pieces of Cloth & Co. Cloth & Co. is an Australian based luxury lifestyle brand founded with the goal of helping combat poverty through the utilisation of the traditional artisan’s skills, as well as providing capacity and skills development to those in need.

Cloth & Co. works with and supports a number of Women’s Self Help Groups and artisan communities across different regions in India. This is done through integrating the traditional techniques with contemporary design to create marketable products for local and international trade.

Each of these exquisite and amazing pieces is made with the utmost care, love and attention and are either hand spun, hand loomed, hand dyed, hand printed or hand stitched— they all reflect the extraordinary skills & craftsmanship of the individual artisan. These garments and homewares are of the highest luxury handmade quality.

Yak throws

The Yak Throws are like nothing else, they are luxurious and truly divine, and most importantly they are providing work for our small group of weavers in Nepal. Each throw is made from the finest yak which is sourced from the high altitude nomadic farmers in Tibet and Mongolia and then hand spun and woven in Nepal. 

Cotton towels and bath wraps

The Cloth & Co. organic cotton towel collections are made from 100% GOTS certified, organic cotton and lovingly hand-loomed by a women’s cooperative of traditional weavers in the foothills of Tamil Nadu in Southern India.

Handloomed linen scarf

These linen handloomed scarves are beautifully woven by village artisans in West Bengal - where without a market that can appreciate the skill and genius of it’s cloth these communities will quickly disappear.
