Deb Sams and Mary Lou Ryan, two friends with an impressive history in Australian fashion, started Bassike together in 2006 with the aim of filling a specific gap in the market. Sneak peak- WILLOW resort 2012
Spent the morning viewing WILLOW's 2012 resort collection at their head office in Sydney. It was absolutely amazing as always! Drapy silk dresses, perfectly cut jackets, pleated skirts and wide leg pants. This collection is a beautiful mix of Coral, Sage, Orchid pink, Aruba light blue, Acid Green and Beaded gold.
'For her 2012 Resort collection, entitled 'Industrialisation Versus Artisan', Kit Willow looked to 20th century legendary French fashion designer Paul Poiret for inspiration. The collection is a fusion of traditional practices and modern technological techniques that results in an unstructured, glamourous anthology. Willow scores another coup in snagging British model and It-girl Poppy Delevigne as the face of the collection'
